WINS
oh no, they don't hiss at us, only at each other sometimes, and hopefully they will arrange with their new place and clear who of them is the boss soon. Meanwhile we have to keep on re-filling their bowls with quite a
mass
of cat food, they have a healthy appetite. I think this is a good sign that they are really feeling quite well.
Did they look well-fed when you received them? Some refuges give them just enough to get by because of the cost. They must think they're in food heaven.
When I was young, my father bred Old English Game fowl for show. In winter, he would feed them warm
mash,
made out of ground grains. Our cats used to love it, too!
their
cash
must have been a little bit too empty - to our taste they are a bit too slim, but we work on that. No wonder they have a good appetite. We like cats a little bit properly cuddlesome, so you shouldn't be able to count their ribs... I think that gives them sort of a reserve to draw on when they should get ill. We have seen cats become skinny and rawboned in just a few days because of illness... To feed cats mash is a nice idea, I could imagine ours would like that, too.
Congratulation to your new roommates.
We only fill the fooder
cask
of our cats twice a day. Plus dry fodder, but not the expensive one. We couldn't effort to buy that for all the three (Although they like it very much). One day of the week is 'fresh' day. They get left over fish from the market or something like that.
And they feed themselves outside or at the neighbours.
thank you, Gesine.
To get the right fodder can be quite a
task
some cats are rather choosy about it. Luckily it works quite well, except when we have to smuggle some medicine into the fodder. They are not easy to outwit.
cats
are far from stupid, and there is no way that they are going to take a pill without a fight! LOL
Are you getting your Christmas competition entries ready? There are real prizes this year!
...and they are good fighters...
Your competition text was excellently written, now I'm curious what's jumping in front of my lens. We'll see... Will we learn this year what santa wears under his
coat?
In the north pole? LOTS!
and I want more than a piece of
coal
this year - I've been much better behaved than last year
you aren't thinking of a
load
of that organic chocolate, are you? Perhaps that one with the caramel and salt filling.
Only if it's dairy free. But I'll settle for a
doll
made out of $50 notes
I'll look for a
roll
of suriname-dollar notes, they are not that expensive ;-)
well, if you want to play the
role
of a miser...
I'm afraid the role won't last to the north
pole
but isn't it santa who has to bring the gifts?
If I had to rely on him, I'd have some very drab Christmasses! No, I
hope
my family comes up with something
I hope it will work just fine for you, so that you won't have to run to the next
shop
and buy all the goodies yourself...
well if I did, they'd be very
posh
a good chance then to dress yourself up,
pose
around a bit and make everyone jealous...
and
poke
them with a pointed stick - my idea of fun
Do you think you can
keep
them laughing all the time this way?
I might prefer to make them
weep
so let them wade through a
deep
sea of tears ;-)
they can
peer
out through their tear-laden lashes
the main thing is of course they dare not
peek
at any christmas presents too early...
...or I shall stab them with my
epee
- aka my pointy stick!
