Any way we can add a "most popular," "newest," "oldest," and "random" selector on the searches?

err... remember back in sxc, when there was a pop-down where we organize the search results? shutterstock also has a similar feature...

Look at 155 and 156 on that page. I assure you that I have been told that installing a system of selecting the order of the search results is of the highest priority.
The process has to be written then tested to make sure it works in all the browsers and doesn't cause a conflict within the site.
It's tricky and takes time to get it right. They work long hours getting the new features to work properly without glitches. It's a very time consuming process for each new feature plus they are optimizing the features that are already installed.

I've had something that works for a few months now, but it just doesn't want to fit in the interface. Partly because of all the different browsers.
Seems to be especially tricky this time. Normally it's not that bad.
We've obviously been able to a lot of other stuff in the mean time.
Jay is back for a few days so, everything is easier to complete.

I just completed the search ordering. It's online now.
Jay provided me with some confirmations and especially some hints so I could complete the interface part.
Just date right now, other things are now easier to add.

Lennie, I think the search in an artists gallery works perfectly fine. This is really helpful, great addition, one of my wishes came true again, thanks!
Perhaps it would be good to have a small faq-page with search tips which explains all the options we have now to search and find images?

I would like to add searching by colors as well, but I first need to figure out how I would implement that. :-)
