That's no way to speak of the local accountants!

Anyway, taipans and death adders are nothing compared to the perils of rush hour commuting. We Brits is tough.

1209. happyture29 September 2011, 8:30 GMT +02:00

Nothing wrong with our Benny Hill Madam, he has fetched many a tear of joy to the eyes of the world, do you know just how BIG our benny was in HaMerica, well let me just say this MISSIVE!

1210. xymonau29 September 2011, 9:10 GMT +02:00

Or even massive. Yes, the rude ones are always popular. He was very popular here, too. And that particular song either topped or was high on our charts.

However, the clip you posted was a pretty good tune, don't you think? In spite of it being from the lowly colonials.

1211. happyture29 September 2011, 9:18 GMT +02:00

Highly entertaining,,,Ooooh dear us Brits are so easily pleased dont you think Dezzie :O)

1212. xymonau29 September 2011, 9:23 GMT +02:00

I know when I'm being insulted. But, yes. You did invent bingo, I believe.

1213. happyture29 September 2011, 9:33 GMT +02:00

DEZZIE, i would not insult you, no way, no how, i am sorry if you think i was being insulting as i was not intending to be, Bingo? Indeed you insult me Madam.

1214. xymonau29 September 2011, 10:04 GMT +02:00

Cat eyes? CAT EYES?? The British invented cats eyes? Well, what did they do before that? Bump into things? (Yes, I know what they really are.)

You would so insult me. That's half the fun.

1215. happyture29 September 2011, 10:25 GMT +02:00

Not hintensionalley , no i have respect for people like you,,,not you, but people like you :O)

1216. xymonau29 September 2011, 11:25 GMT +02:00

1217. happyture29 September 2011, 23:58 GMT +02:00

Thats true, you are unique, one of a kind :O)

1218. xymonau30 September 2011, 1:44 GMT +02:00

I yam. Now I owe the entire United Kingdom an apology. "Why?" you ask. Because it was really the Italians that inflicted the planet with Bingo, according to the best info I can find online. So I withdraw my above insult, and you are forgiven.

1219. happyture30 September 2011, 7:33 GMT +02:00

Apology Xcepted, I hate bingo, tried it once and that was more than enough, apart from that its all computerised now, its really cheating as the main computer pick pages from random bingo books that have been sold and then spills out the results to the caller, it has been known for the computer to go haywire and pick the same person as the winner over and over,,,this to me is not right,,i say bring back the bingo balls.. phew,,,,got taken away with that then....

1220. xymonau1 October 2011, 10:45 GMT +02:00

I think I have played it only once, too. My powers of concentration are not good, and I believe I was just anxious all the time, trying to be sure I didn't miss any numbers. I am not a fan of gambling in any form.

1221. happyture1 October 2011, 11:37 GMT +02:00

Nor me, i do the lotto and that's it,,

1222. xymonau1 October 2011, 11:40 GMT +02:00

I don't even do that. I have at times in the past, but I get annoyed when I don't win - as you do - and I regret having spent the money.

Still, it would be nice to win something, wouldn't it? :)

1223. happyture1 October 2011, 11:43 GMT +02:00

Tell yoo naw,, id be on the first plane out of England if i won the lotto!! sunny land ere i comes!!!

1224. xymonau1 October 2011, 11:49 GMT +02:00

I was talking to one of my neighbours in this complex last week. He has a Pomgolian accent. He was saying he thought it was wonderful that the weather is heating up now, as he hates the cold. He said he never wants to ever live where it snows again.

1225. happyture1 October 2011, 16:56 GMT +02:00

Hintelligent man then, I say if you aint a Eskimo or a penguin keep well away from the cold white stuff, it really hurts me bad, the cold always makes the damaged parts of my body ache big time,,hate it hate it,,,and the light is horrible, dull grey days, we are lucky at the moment we are having a Indian summer,, warm warm lovely!
